In the Herd Cape Cod is a veteran and small family-owned and operated business. We started in 2023 providing individualized personal solutions for mental wellness, substance abuse, and personal growth. We create experiential learning programs incorporating horses, nature, and other animals. This year we’ve had the opportunity to grow! Now providing programs for groups of all ages and situations. We are currently working with a local town providing experiential learning of life skills for youth ages 9-25. We have also expanded to senior living centers and the local council of aging. Along with leadership programs for various units(i.e. Young Marines)

At In The Herd Cape Cod, we strive to provide a safe, inclusive, supportive space to explore new connections with the guidance of equine, nature, and various other animals. Biophilia (Biophilia is the term coined by the Harvard naturalist Dr. Edward O. Wilson to describe what he saw as humanity's "innate tendency to focus on life and lifelike processes," and to be drawn toward nature, to feel an affinity for it, a love, a craving.) is a natural desire that lives in all of us. We hope to spark this desire and allow the opportunity to utilize it to help see the life in life and the gifts that surround us. This awareness can create hope, clarity, strength, and understanding, in where we've been, where we are, and where we want to go. The ideas of acceptance, humility, and spirituality can be encountered when we slow down, listen, and watch. If we can create a healthy seeking experience, then we can create hope.
